We are urgently looking for National Head (Sales) for a reputed Pharmaceuticals company based in India which is a well known in vaccines. Here are the details-

The company boasts of having over 70 years of experience in manufacturing, performing clinical trials, registration, import, marketing and distribution of specialty  pharmaceutical products.   Achievements include introducing and successfully marketing various existing as well as new molecules in India, making them multi-million brands including critical vaccines, cardiovascular products, immunological, oncology products, fertility hormones, neurology drugs and several inject-able and antibiotics. Established 400 brands, out of which 20 brands held numero-uno position in India.  The Company is pioneer in the most ultramodern Cold Storage Distribution networks.  Well established with 26 branch offices & more than 1000 distribution points across India.

The Job

National Head (Sales)

  • Overall responsible for Sales Operations Pan India
  • Monitoring & Developing business through Channel/Trade Partners, Doctors/Institutions/Hospitals  with effective Team management & leaderships skills.
  • Channel Sales/Managing trade for maximum product coverage, monitoring effective sales  at chemists/pharmacists/druggists & other channel for products promotions activities, Interacting with channel partners & assisting them for enhancing brand loyalty and customer retention.
  • DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT: Identifying and developing channel partners for achieving business volumes consistently and profitably. Evolving strategies & activities to achieve desired business activities & implement recognition campaigns for enhancing motivations.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT- Will be responsible for Sales Team across Pan India, their productivity and performance, devising sales strategies and setting targets.
  • SALES PROMOTIONS: Building brand focus in conjunction with operational requirements. Ensuring maximum brand availability and capture optimum market share. Managing brand image building and awareness campaigns. Devising & implementing pre & post sales activities for successful launching of new brands.
  • Identifying and establishing new business.
  • Government Liaising & Tenders
  • Undertaking relevant research
  • Will be reporting to the GM Sales/MD of the organization

Experience required is minimum 15-20 years with a pharmaceutical company.

Job Location

National Sales Head will be based in Mumbai and will be required to Travel Pan India to different zones & territories.

Salary– Not a constraint/Open for the right candidate. 

Please note that we also have the following openings with us apart from Medical Representatives. All the below openings are senior to MR-

 1st line manager (ASM)
 2nd line manager (RSM)
SM 3rd line manager

Additional Tips : Candidates who are currently dealing with General Physicians & Pediatricians will be really suitable. Otherwise candidates from any branch can apply. Since the company is into Vaccines they do not have any specific choice in hiring Pharma staff.
